  • Financial data: Transaction history, bank imprint for the deposit (full card numbers are managed exclusively by our secure payment provider).
  • Connection and usage data: IP address, connection logs, browser type, interactions with the social network (friends, messages, comments).

The collection and processing of this data meet the following purposes:

  • User account management: Creation of personal space, authentication.
  • Security and Trust (KYC): Verification of user identity and property ownership to prevent fraud and ensure network security.
  • Matching and Contracting: Automatic generation of loan for use contracts (commodat) between members.
  • Transaction management: Collection of service fees and securing of the bank deposit.
  • Social network operation: Management of friend lists, property visibility, internal messaging.
  • Support and improvement: Dispute management, user assistance, bug analysis.

Article 3.2: Data collection method

When you use our site, the following data is automatically collected:

IP address, browser type, visit time, pages visited (via technical cookies necessary for operation).

Other personal data is collected when you perform the following operations on the platform:

  • Registration: Email, Name, Surname (via form or Google Auth).
  • Identity verification: Uploading identity documents and biometric scan.
  • Adding a property: Entering property details and availability.
  • Booking: Entering dates and validating loan conditions.
  • Payment: Entering bank details when taking the imprint for the deposit.

They are kept by the data controller under reasonable security conditions, for a period of:

  • Active account: The entire duration of service use.
  • Inactive account: 3 years after the last activity.
  • Legal documents (Commodat contracts): 10 years (to meet legal obligations and in case of dispute).
  • Identity data (KYC): Duration necessary for verification and maintenance of "Verified" status, then secure archiving in accordance with legal obligations.

The company is likely to keep certain personal data beyond the deadlines announced above in order to fulfill its legal or regulatory obligations.

  • Neon: Database hosting.
  • Cloudinary: Hosting of media files (property photos).
  • Stripe: Management of secure payments and deposits.
  • Resend: Sending transactional emails.
  • Identity verification providers (e.g., Stripe Identity): For validation of official documents.
  • Electronic signature providers (e.g., Yousign/DocuSign): For legal signature of commodat contracts.

Article 3.5: "Cookies" policy

The site uses "cookies" techniques. A "cookie" is a small file, stored by the site on the user's hard drive, containing information relating to the user's browsing habits.
We mainly use functional cookies necessary for authentication (keeping your session active) and site security. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, but this could alter the proper functioning of the application.

ARTICLE 6: CONDITIONS FOR MODIFYING THE PRIVACY POLICY

The publisher of the HomeFreeWorld site reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time to ensure its compliance with the law in force for site users.
Any modifications cannot affect transactions previously carried out on the site, which remain subject to the Policy in force at the time of the transaction.
The user is invited to take note of this Policy each time they use our services, without it being necessary to formally notify them.
